Knowle Operatic Society (KOS) is an amateur group which was formed in January, 1962, originally performing in Knowle Village Hall. Time has moved on and , in December 1977, a move was made to the then newly opened Theatre at the Solihull Arts Complex and this comfortable venue has remained the home to our productions. |
|
We have performed over 70 major shows. Our annual schedule comprises a major production in the Solihull Arts Complex in March with a concert production in September in Knowle.
2002 was our 40th Anniversary, to celebrate, we repeated our first show, The Mikado.

Knowle Operatic Society
Founded in 1962, it performed mainly G & S Operettas in the Knowle Village Hall until its successful move to Solihull Library Theatre in 1977. Staging two productions a year, requires a cross-section of ages, skill and talent, both singing and back stage. Musical theatre is great fun - why not join us?
We meet at Bentley Heath C of E Primary School every Wednesday evening to rehearse for our two shows performed at the Solihull Library Theatre.
We are always pleased to welcome new members who wish to be involved in theatre activities - on stage, backstage, front of house, singing, dancing, administrative or technical.
Our membership is of all ages: from the children who gave us a wonderful production of 'Annie' to the 'mature surfer' who produced this page!
