"A well directed production of 'The Pirates of Penzance'. Good placings of the large chorus who sang well.
Kirsty Roberts was a delightful Mabel, having a beautiful voice. The role of Frederic (Andrew Johnson) was undertaken in great style only three weeks before the show. There were so many talented principle characters - Andrew Wilson-Jenner as Major Stanley, Tony Lacey as the Pirate King, Michael Bentley as Samuel and an outstanding performance by Joan Ransom as Ruth.
Attractive costumes and a well controlled orchestra."
