Noda Review
This was a lovely production, with a good performance by Peter Haden as a charming Honore Lachailles. Eleanor Warren was delightfully natural as Gigi, singing "In this Wide, Wide World" with such feeling. Michael Bentley was a dapper Gaston Lachailles, with Jill Lackey as a warm Inex Alvarez (Mamita). Margaret Bates gave a charming, strong-willed performance as Gigi's mentor, Aunt Alicia.
Good support from other principals and an enthusiastic chorus. Attractive costumes and a well-controlled orchestra.
